If you’re dreaming of a romantic garden wedding in Brisbane, Sunset and Jade’s beautiful ceremony at New Farm Park is the perfect inspiration.

Held in September when the rose garden was in full bloom, their wedding day was filled with shades of pink, fragrance, and relaxed celebration—right in one of Brisbane’s most iconic park locations.

The rose garden was absolutely breathtaking—rows of roses in soft pinks, reds, and whites filling the air with fragrance and colour. It created a naturally beautiful backdrop that hardly needed any extra decoration.

Their styling embraced the setting perfectly.

Sunset carried a bouquet of roses that tied beautifully into the garden surroundings, while Jade wore a striking rose pink suit that complemented the floral theme.

It felt romantic, joyful, and completely aligned with the location they had chosen.

A Heartfelt Ceremony in the Garden

Their ceremony was warmly officiated by With Love Brisbane City Celebrants, led by celebrant Jamie Eastgate.

Jamie created a ceremony that felt relaxed, meaningful, and full of personality—exactly the atmosphere Sunset and Jade wanted as they exchanged vows surrounded by an intimate group of family and friends.

The ceremony was beautifully set up by With Love Wedding Decorators, with simple and elegant details that enhanced the natural beauty of the rose garden rather than competing with it.

After the ceremony, we spent time wandering through the rose garden capturing portraits among the blooms.

For couples planning a New Farm Park wedding, the rose garden offers endless photo opportunities:

      • Lush rose-lined pathways
      • Soft, romantic colours throughout the garden
      • Beautiful natural light in the late afternoon
      • Elegant greenery and classic garden landscapes

In September especially, the garden feels vibrant and alive, making it one of the best locations in Brisbane for wedding photography.

Sunset and Jade’s rose-themed styling worked perfectly with the setting, creating photos that felt cohesive, romantic, and full of life.

      Reception Celebrations at Mary Mae’s

Once the portraits were finished, everyone made their way to Mary Mae’s Bar & Kitchen for the reception celebration.

Located right beside the Brisbane River, Mary Mae’s is a relaxed and vibrant spot that works beautifully for wedding receptions after a New Farm Park ceremony.

Guests enjoyed drinks, food, and plenty of laughter while celebrating Sunset and Jade’s wedding day together.

It was the perfect way to end a joyful and colourful garden wedding.
