When the owners of The Blossom Tree Company – Jeslin and Jeff, asks you to document their gender reveal, you know it’s going to be epic – especially when they’ve got the amazing Alysia ( Alysia Bridger Events) styling the event.
So, this gender reveal was actually a surprise for their guests. Their guests had been invited for a combined house warming and birthday celebration. It’s not until they walked to the backyard of the house that they were greeted with a huge 2×2 m beautiful illustration of the family, illustrated by Mel, surrounded by show stopping balloon installation by Pretty Bangin Balloons. But there was something about this illustration that made their friends stop and gasp. Jeslin was depicted as pregnant! What?! Surprise guys, this is also a gender reveal party!
The event had a private sushi Chef, Takashi Nami – being a huge foodie, I can confirm the food he prepared was aaaaammmmaaaaaazing! There was also a buffet of all the favourite Asian food you could think of.
There was the cutest looking ice-cream cart ( Wheel and Spoon), fairy floss and popcorn cart ( Fairy Floss Machine Hire). There was face painting, balloon artist and a huge white jumping castle ( Super Castle) for the kids.
For the adults, there was a cocktail bar ( Avideas Event Hire ), long white tables and with elegant gold chanel chairs (The Chair Man QLD) under huge pink blossom trees (The Blossom Tree Company) with the smooth live music from Martini Band Brisbane.
To bring in good luck to their new home, there was a fantastic display dragon dance display which was such fun entertainment for both the adults and kids.
And finally… everyone gathered around for the gender reveal. The smoke bomb was lit…. BLUE! The confetti cannons were popped and the congratulations banner dropped and EVERYONE WENT WILD! The excitement of the day all captured on film by the talented videographer Chrissy at Butterscotch Studio.
But there was one last surprise for the birthday girl that her friends organised for her inside her birthday cake.
