I had a vision of an intimate bohemian styled elopement against rugged raw coastal setting… with pops of bright, colourful florals against moody navy blue. I had an amazing team of vendors that made this vision come into fruition.

Karen from Decorative Magic set up a bamboo tipi with white and navy draping, adding bohemian touches with rugs and cushions. She styled the beach picnic with navy and gold accents and sourced gorgeous cushions, ceramics and glassware that completed the coastal bohemian feel. Navy water coloured paper goods with gold calligraphy provided by Moya Calligraphy tied into the theme seamlessly.

The sky turned darker and darker almost as if to match the colour of our navy theme. People left the beach as it seemed imminent that it would storm and soon the beach became deserted.

The stunning, colourful floral creations adorning the tipi, the picnic table and the bride and groom by The Bloom Closet stood out even more against the moody weather!

Our bride Christina wore a beautiful long sleeve lace wedding gown by When Freddie Met Lilly ( Vixen). Shannon Jennings Makeup was the talent behind the bride’s hair and makeup. She created a chunky, loose braid hairstyle and make up that drew in the colours of the floral crown. Together with macramé bouquet wrap from A Song of Beginning, Christina was the vision of the perfect boho bride.

Kevin, our groom wore navy pants to tie in with the navy theme and with rolled up sleeves, suspenders and a tousled “man-bun”, he was our perfect boho groom to match our bride!

Climbing up clifftops and embracing the wild weather together …. What an adventure this shoot was!!
